Sri Lanka for travel agents.
Ancient citadels, tea-country plantations, leopard safari and colonial Galle. Compact enough for eight nights, layered enough for two weeks. Handled end to end.
Nine climates, one small island.
Sri Lanka packs an improbable amount into 65,000 km² — 2,000-year-old Buddhist ruins, cloud-forest tea estates, four national parks with leopards and elephants, and colonial Galle Fort by the ocean. Sequencing all of that intelligently in a 10- or 14-night circuit is the DMC's real value-add.
ILH operates Sri Lanka programs from our Greater Noida office with on-ground teams in Colombo, Kandy and Galle. That gives us direct hotel contracting (Aman properties, Ceylon Tea Trails, Cape Weligama), private-driver quality control, and rapid response when a monsoon front closes a mountain road.
Brief us with client profile — first-timer, second-timer, honeymoon, family, wildlife-focused — and we return a routing matched to season and pace, with hotels, private driver-guide, safari lodges and rail bookings noted line by line.
Proven Sri Lanka routings, ready to tailor.

Agent questions, answered.
What is the Sri Lanka ETA and how does it work?
Electronic Travel Authorization applied online (eta.gov.lk) 48 hours before arrival. USD 50 for most nationalities. ILH shares the ETA application link and briefs your client on the required inputs.
How do monsoons affect Sri Lanka programs?
Two monsoon systems. West/South coast: dry Dec–Mar, wet May–Sep. East coast: opposite — dry Apr–Sep. Cultural Triangle year-round with occasional rain. We route around the wet coast rather than avoiding travel altogether.
Which parks are best for leopard sightings?
Yala National Park (Block 1) has the highest density of leopards in the world — best for high sighting probability. Wilpattu is quieter and more exclusive. Udawalawe for elephants. Peak safari season Feb–Jun.
Which luxury hotels do you contract with?
Aman Sri Lanka (Amangalla, Amanwella), Cape Weligama, Ceylon Tea Trails, Chena Huts (Yala), Wild Coast Tented Lodge, Anantara Peace Haven, Shangri-La Colombo & Hambantota, Fort Bazaar, Heritance Kandalama.
Can Sri Lanka be combined with Maldives?
Yes — one of our most-sold combinations. Direct daily flights CMB–MLE (SriLankan & Emirates). Typical combo: 7 nights Sri Lanka (Cultural Triangle + one coast) + 5 nights Maldives resort.
Do you handle rail bookings for tea-country travel?
Yes. The Kandy–Ella train is Asia's most scenic rail journey. We book first-class Observation Saloon or Expo Rail reserved seating. Booking window opens 30 days out — we watch it daily.
